Jazz

As a sideman, bassist Miloš Čolović is a fixture of rhythm sections in Vienna, Munich, Graz and

Belgrade, regularly performing with some of the top names from these jazz scenes such as

Claus Raible, Roman Schwaller, Herwig Gradischnig, Dena DeRose as well as visiting

musicians such as David Hazeltine, Davis Whitfield, Brad Leali, Scott Hamilton, Hetty Kate,

Sofija Knežević etc.

As a bandleader, he put together a lineup featuring the most prominent musicians in Belgrade.

With this sextet he showcases a deep connection to the jazz tradition, particularly post bop and

hard bop as well as influences from free jazz, film music and rock.

All of the band members have already played together in various different groups during the last

ten years and their bond and musical connection is quite apparent on their debut record ‘’To The

Beat Of My Footsteps’’ which was voted ‘’Serbian album of the year’’ by Jazzin.rs.

The album was released in 2025 on the italian A.Ma Records to great praise from both Serbian

and foreign press, international radio airplay and thunderous response from the live crowds in

Belgrade and Vienna
