Four musicians from Vienna’s jazz scene come together in a classic quartet setting to explore and reinterpret jazz standards. Robert Unterköfler on tenor saxophone, Urs Hager on piano, Michael Acker on bass, and Mario Gonzi on drums approach the repertoire with their own musical ideas, leaving room for spontaneous interaction and improvisation. Familiar melodies become starting points for new interpretations, shaped by the quartet’s individual voices and a shared sense of swing and groove.
